Do you work UK wide?

Yes. We deliver most support remotely via Microsoft Teams, which speeds things up. On-site visits are available on request.

What services do you provide?

CQC registration setup, mock inspection and SAF readiness, policies and documentation, and training for managers and teams.

What training and experience do I need before applying?

Your Registered Manager must typically hold (or be working towards) a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care. You will also need mandatory training (such as Safeguarding and First Aid), relevant experience leading or managing care services, and a strong knowledge of regulatory requirements. CQC now places a much stronger emphasis on hands-on leadership capability before they will approve a registration.

Can I operate my care business from home?

Yes, you can, but you must have a registered office address for your CQC-regulated service. While this doesn't have to be where care is delivered, it must be a secure environment for storing records. Many providers start from a home office, ensuring data protection is in place, while others use virtual office services.

How long does the CQC registration process take?

On average, the CQC registration process takes between 12–16 weeks from the point of submission. This timeline can vary, as delays are often caused by incomplete applications or rescheduled interviews. Preparing all your documents thoroughly in advance is the best way to speed up approval.

How much does it cost to start a care business?

Startup costs depend on your service type. As a guide, expect costs from £8,000-£15,000+ for Domiciliary Care and £12,000-£20,000+ for Supported Living. This includes registration fees, policies, insurance, and initial operating costs. We offer payment plans on our setup packages to help spread the cost.
